BOOTCAMP Fitness Class Descriptions
BootyCamp®: The ultimate mix of cardio and strength with an emphasis on tightening up that tush! This is energetic circuit-training class features exercises that are rotated through "bootcamp style" in rapid succession (don't worry, no drill sergeant will yell at you, we keep it friendly :). We keep it fresh by switching the format each class so no two are the same. Tons of fun, we even hit the great outdoors on occasion!
BOSU: Experience balance challenges within every component of exercise using a unique, half ball – half board piece of fitness equipment. Whether your focus is cardio, strength and flexibility, or agility and sport movement — the BOSU Balance Trainer™ workout integrates total fitness with FUN! Leave class with a new appreciation for what "total body workout" really means!
GLUTES, GUTS & GLORY®: A precision-blended workout to hit the problem areas most of us suffer. We break it down to to 1/3 butt, 1/3 gut and 1/3 general cardio training. The glutes and guts portion is a fantastic mix of strength and cardio training for these areas, the glory portion is an endurance cardio challenge that focuses on walking or running our pre-defined route -- go for the glory by improving your time! We've had a great response to this Kees Camp original workout -- we think you'll love it too!
HEAT (High-Energy Athletic Training): You'll get a HOT workout indoors and outside, while exploring your cardiovascular and athletic thresholds! This class features a winning combination of non-weighted core exercises, drills, walking, running and other cardio activities designed to melt fat and boost your fitness levels. Geared towards all abilities, modifications are demonstrated for those unable to run or perform other specific movements.
Hip-Hop & Abs: Rock it out! You'll love the high energy that this class offers... You'll learn and perform Jen's original hip-hop choreography to some of the sweetest beats out there. Learn the dances to throw down at the club while getting one heck of a workout! The last portion of the class is devoted to tightening and strengthening that tummy. A winning combination!
Hip-Hop & Hoop: Be a star! This extended 75-minute cardio class format offers a combination of dance and hoop movement that is so fun, you'll never notice you're getting a workout! The first 45 minutes is focused on learning and performing Jen's original choreography to some of the hottest hits out there... If you're with HH&H for the whole bootcamp session, you'll learn 3 complete hip-hop dances to throw down at the club! The last 30 minutes is spent with hula-hooping conditioning to refine your skills through improved balance, reaction time, cardio and core-strength -- especially good for the lower back. Ch-ch-check it out!
PumpTime: PumpTime works all your muscle groups from large to small with each session. It combines bars, bells, resistance bands and resist-a-balls with high-energy music to give you a strength-training workout like no other! PumpTime is invaluable at building core strength, sculpting your muscles, and giving you a positive challenge to look forward to with each workout. A perennial favorite at Kees Camp!
RESIST-A-BALL: Did you ever imagine an entire workout on a ball? Stability balls are amongst the most versatile training tools available today. Every exercise, every stretch, every movement pattern incorporates core strength and stability so that you are always working the core muscles. Dynamic in every way for every muscle in the body.
STEP: Aerobically challenge your cardiovascular endurance through basic step patterns strategically built to create flowing routines with lots of movement and tons of attitude.
YOGA: This class, available to all levels, combines breath-work and meditation with traditional Hatha yoga postures. Hatha yoga can improve posture, lubricate joints, increase strength and flexibility, and reduce stress with regular practice. Give yoga a try and experience this gentle, passive workout of self-reflection, relaxation and refreshment.
YogaSculpt: Incorporates all the wonderful breathing, stretching and posing of yoga and gives it a strength-training twist! (Light) optional hand-held weights are utilized to sculpt the arms and upper body while in the yoga poses to lengthen, strengthen and define. This one is not about packing on muscle, it's about definition, definition, definition!
Zumba: Zumba fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic workout system that will blow you away! The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into your mix with ZUMBA!
